2. Hosting

This website is hosted on servers of STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. Strato processes the data listed in section 3 solely on our behalf.

3. Accessing the website

Each time you access the website, your browser transmits data that the server logs: IP address, date and time, the page accessed, the previously visited page, browser type and operating system. We need this data to deliver the website and to ensure its secure operation. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is not combined with other data and is deleted regularly.

4. Encryption

The website is delivered exclusively in encrypted form (TLS). You can recognise this by the padlock symbol and by ‘https://’ in the address bar.

5. No cookies, no tracking

This website does not set any cookies and does not use any analytics, tracking or advertising services. Fonts and all other content are loaded from our own server. Visiting the website does not create a connection to any third-party servers.

6. Contact by email or telephone

If you write to us or call us, we process your details in order to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the data as soon as your enquiry has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations prevent this. Unencrypted emails are not fully protected against access by third parties during transmission.

7. Applications

We process applications in order to carry out the application process on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Only the persons involved in the process have access. If no employment relationship results, we delete the documents six months after the process has been completed. We only retain them for longer with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

8. Recipients

Data is only disclosed where this is necessary for processing, for example to our hosting provider and our IT service provider as processors, or where we are legally obliged to do so. No data is transferred to countries outside the EU or the EEA.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). Where we process data on the basis of legitimate interests, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21). An informal message to info@martens-polsterwerk.de is sufficient.

10. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (the data protection authority of North Rhine-Westphalia), Kavalleriestraße 2-4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany, poststelle@ldi.nrw.de.

11. No automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling.
