As a manufacturing company, we are aware of our responsibility towards the environment and the society in which we work. It rests on three pillars: Ecology, Economy and Social.
Ecology
More than half of our electricity comes from our own roof.
We continuously implement measures for sustainable furniture production: from resource-efficient product development and water-based adhesives to deliberately short transport routes along the value chain and greater energy efficiency.
Our photovoltaic system already generates more than half of our energy needs and powers our electric company cars. Our supply chain is FSC-certified. And we are far from finished.
Economy
Economically sound for the long term, here in Germany.
We continuously develop our organisation and our production processes to keep manufacturing in Germany economically viable in the long term. This allows us to offer many people a secure job with a future and to help our customers keep the quality promise of Made in Germany competitive.
Social
A team from more than seven nations.
We see ourselves as part of a greater whole and are continually removing barriers to inclusion and integration. We are proud of our 50 per cent share of women, of having a woman at the head of the company and of colleagues from more than seven nations working together.
Beyond our own company, we support local clubs as well as international humanitarian projects.
