Internship, technical (m/f/d)
Full-time in Kevelaer, duration and start date by arrangement
In our technical internship, you will get to know the manufacture of upholstered furniture from the ground up: cutting, sewing, upholstery and joinery, plus development and prototype building.
Your tasks
- You work in cutting, sewing and upholstery and get to know fabrics, leathers and foams.
- In development, you help build samples and prototypes for well-known manufacturers.
- You create bills of materials and routings and learn how a product goes into series production.
- You take on a small project of your own, for example to improve a work process, and present it at the end.
What you bring
- A degree course or vocational training in product design, interior architecture, wood technology, mechanical engineering or industrial engineering
- Manual dexterity and technical understanding
- Initial experience with CAD is an advantage
- Curiosity, reliability and enjoyment of handwork
- Good German or English
